3 Days Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour

Your adventure begins with an early departure from Fes, heading towards the picturesque town of Ifran, often referred to as “Little Switzerland” for its unique alpine architecture. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery as we continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing cedar forests and charming Berber villages. Our journey takes us to the town of Midelt for a lunch break before we head towards the vast Sahara Desert. By late afternoon, we reach Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a camel trek across the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes. Witness the magical sunset over the desert before arriving at a traditional Berber camp. Enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner and a night under the starry sky.

After a spectacular sunrise over the dunes and breakfast at the camp, we set off towards Rissani, a town known for its vibrant market and rich history. Explore the local souks before continuing our journey to the lush Tinghir Oasis. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the magnificent Todra Gorge, with its towering cliffs and winding river. We then proceed to the Dades Valley, often referred to as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. You’ll spend the night in a charming local hotel, enjoying dinner and a comfortable rest.

Following breakfast, we travel through the scenic Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios, where many famous movies have been filmed. Next, we head to the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for its stunning architecture and historical significance. After exploring the ancient kasbah, we continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech by early evening.
